Description: Dithiophosphate 25 is a combined mineral processing agent that integrates both collecting and foaming functions. It appears as a dark brown, oily liquid, with its main active component—xylenol dithiophosphoric acid—comprising 60% to 70% of the content. The density at 20°C is 1.17–1.20 g/cm³. This reagent offers notable chemical stability and shows varying collecting performance under different pH conditions. It finds broad application in the flotation and separation of polymetallic sulfide ores, with especially marked results in processing lead, copper, and silver ores.

The agent shows potent collecting capability for sulfide minerals of lead, copper, and silver, and is also efficient in processing activated zinc sulfide ores. Its molecules adhere to mineral surfaces via hydrophobic groups, significantly boosting surface hydrophobicity and encouraging the attachment of target minerals to bubbles, which raises the recovery rate of valuable metals.
Its collecting action is highly pH-dependent: under alkaline conditions, it has a weak effect on pyrite, supporting preferential flotation and separation of lead and zinc minerals. In neutral or acidic environments, it serves as a strong, non-selective collector for the majority of sulfide minerals.
The natural foaming ability of Dithiophosphate 25 decreases the requirement for extra frothing agents. In certain flotation setups, it helps create a foam layer with appropriate bubble size and stability, enhancing separation effectiveness. Under specific conditions, it may also provide supplementary collecting function for certain heavy metal oxide ores.
Key Advantages:
Effective collection of lead, copper, silver, and activated zinc sulfide ores, with wide applicability across ore types.
Strong selectivity in alkaline settings, aiding pyrite suppression and target mineral separation in complex ores.
Suitable for specific oxide ore flotation conditions, broadening its application scope.
